March through December

  • The House on the Rock -
    • For over 60 years, the House on the Rock has been a majestic work in progress. It began in 1945, when a man named Alex Jordan had a towering goal: to build a man-made retreat as awe-inspiring as the view from the rock upon which the house would eventually be built. From that spark of imagination, the House on the Rock has evolved to include displays and collections of the exotic, the unusual and the amazing that can be viewed as three separate tours.

May through October

  • Taliesin - Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin Opens for the Season:   (The Opal Man gallery is just a short drive down hwy 23)
    • Taliesin offers the following tours:  Estate, Winter Festival, House, Highlights, Hillside Studio and Theater, Garden, Educator, Group, and Private.
    • Hillside School Class Experiences are also offered.

June through November

  • American Players Theatre (APT)
    • APT is a professional theater located just outside Spring Green, Wisconsin. Situated on 110 acres of hilly woods and meadows, APT has two theaters, the newly renovated 1089-seat outdoor amphitheater and the 201-seat indoor Touchstone Theater. From June through November, APT produces nine plays in a rotating repertory. With annual attendance of over 100,000 and an annual budget in excess of $6 million, APT ranks as the country’s second largest outdoor theater devoted to the classics.


  • Spring Green Art and Crafts Fair - Annual art and crafts fair that takes place the 3rd or 4th weekend of every June. 
  • The Original Fall Art Tour - This annual event occurs Friday through Sunday on the third weekend of October -  A self-guided road trip art experience.
